She is a great surgeon and have excellent bedside manners. She discussed and explained in details the surgery and gave detailed explanation of the surgery itself. Her stuff is excellent too. And they provide pre-op orientation for all the PE patients who is to have Nuss surgery. She is perfectionist and always wants to make sure her patients have perfect result. Dr. Burnweit also follows up personally on every Nuss patient all the way. And when she is not available she is easy to reach by phone and also 3 other surgeons from her team (who are also experienced in Nuss) follow up with the patients every day. Dr. Burnweit changed my son's life for best! I made a right choice and would recommend her to any teen for PE correction. I think she performs Nuss and Ravitch on children and teens only up to 21 y.o. She is certified with American Board of Surgery in pediatric surgery and general surgery and PE correction (Nuss and Ravitch) is one of her special interests.
