https://pectus.com/ https://pectus.com/hosp/discussions/review?id=101 https://pectus.com/hosp/discussions/review?id=101 This hospital is an excellent facility in the beautiful city of Aarhus.From the start at check in I was made to feel very welcome.I was introduced in the next 3 hours before my procedure to the nurses , physio , anesthetist,and surgeon Prof Pilegaard,All explained the NUSS process and there part in it and I was given hospital clothing and familiarised with my room and the recovery room. Every second thereafter my needs were catered for in terms of pain , bodily function and sustinence.This hospital is great for recovering from surgery as one is able to roam freely around the many floors of the hospital to perform recovery excercise routines.The facilities in the room were excellent with the bathroom being laid out for ease of use and excellent adjustable bed . The food and drink was regular , variable and of good quality and nutritional value.The nursing staff were very caring and attentive with all staff being professional.I was visited at least twice a day by Hans who updated me regularly on my case status regarding discharge etc .Hans predicted a good outcome with possible limitations because of age , and that is what was produced. I am only 10 days post op but am happy with the result of what must have been a difficult redo Hans had to perform.Overall although it cost me approx £15000 (But will hopefully get £5000back from UK NHS), I would say the hospital and staff provide good value for money and I wholeheartedly recommend the hospital and Hans Pilegaard for the NUSS procedure.I would add that it would be easier for the client to pay with Credit Card dependant on the fees.I was not offered this option but hasd to do a SWIFT payment which was a poor exchange rate compared to Visa .
