Mazziotti" class="jrMediaPhoto" align="right" /> Dr Mazziotti performed the nuss procedure on my 15 yr old son on Monday ( 12/29/14) The results are AMAZING and things went way better than I could have ever expected. Dr Mazziotti makes himself easily accesable to his patients and listens to all of your concerns and answers all of your questions & takes time to explain things that you may not understand. He also has a wonderful bedside manner, which was very much appreciated by us. I am VERY pleased with Dr Mazziotti and the entire staff at Texas Children's Hospital and everything they did for my son

Mazziotti" class="jrMediaPhoto" align="right" /> Dr. Mazziotti performed the nuss procedure on my 15 yr old daughter on 7/3/12. Her chest was 8.6 on the Haller index. The result is amazing! Really beautiful.

Dr. Mazziotti has a wonderful bedside manner, which is incredibly important to us since this is an emotional time. He's sweet, funny, and compassionate. He has an easy-going manner, but with complete seriousness behind it - if that makes sense. We just really felt comfortable with his confidence and knowledge.

He has been 100% accessible via cell phone/text - even through another health crisis we had a month before surgery. He wanted us to keep in touch to let him know how she was doing. He has spent as much time as we've needed answering questions and talking with us about our concerns without us ever feeling rushed. Before and after the surgery.

He also has a wonderful team. All the surgeons that checked on us throughout our hospital stay were compassionate, knowledgable and helpful with our concerns.

He came in to check on my son today pulled up a chair and asked how's my buddy? He gave us his personal cell number to contact him if anything comes up and we need to speak to him immediately...It makes us feel like he personally cares that my son isn't just another patient. I would recommend him to any parent who's child has a pectus deformity.
