They made the entire experience easier by just being so caring and thorough in everything they did. He is great about making sure not only you understand everything, but also your child. I like that he talked to my daughter and cared about her questions and concerns. He is so patient and kind, we never felt rushed at an appointment and you leave knowing he really cares. Throughout the process he was concerned about the best outcome, not only from a medical stand point but also cosmetically. He made us all feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. I am amazed by how small my daughters scars are and the care he took to make sure that they were minimal. I loved that when he came out to see us after surgery, he was excited about the results, telling us that cosmetically the results were better than he anticipated do to the asymmetry. He specializes in the Nuss procedure and unlike other surgeons I spoke to, he performs the procedure regularly, not just once or twice a year. They are all wonderful and very accessible. I have had two son's with pectus excavatum and MIRPE surgeries. They have made us all comfortable throughout the entire experience. Pre-surgery, post-surgery, follow-ups, planning, etc. They are experts all the way through. Very kind, caring, experienced and competent.
