Dr. Rader and her staff are fantastic. My son had the Nuss Procedure. The procedure and what we/our son could expect were clearly outlined before surgery. They were able to work with our schedule so that our son could participate in his planned summer activities. The surgery and post surgery went as planned. No issues, no infections, pain was worse than expected but then you really can't prepare for this kind of pain. Unfortunately our son over did it at camp and moved his bar. He had to have 2 follow up surgeries to put the bar back in place and to place a second stabilizing bar. It has been 1 year since the follow up surgery and our son is doing great. He rock climbs, did some white water rafting, canoeing, hiking, swimming, etc. And all without a shirt on!!

They were all wonderful!! The Dr., interns, residents, nurses, staff! I feel very fortunate to live within 20 minutes of such a caring hospital. CCMC is the best!
