While my Haller index wasn't rated as "severe," the positioning of the indentation caused cardiac and pulmonary compression warranting approval of the surgery by insurance. You could literally see my heart beating. Anyway, Dr. Burnweit is extremely knowledgeable about the procedure and condition. She's highly intelligent and made her case well (providing previous cases' results - pictures and all). She doesn't sugar coat things, but has an excellent bedside manner. You can tell she cares about her patients and doing things promptly and correctly.
