Great doctor and staff! We did our homework and took a year to decide. This was the best decision backed by tons of conversations with medical providers that we are friends with. He’s the best.

Dr. Alder and his staff are amazing. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Alder and his staff with the care of my child. They are very caring and compassionate. They were there for us 24 hours a day/7 days a week. We made several calls to the on-call nurse practitioner after midnight for post surgery questions and concerns and immediately received returned calls. Dr. Alder explained everything in great detail and gave us lots of helpful information for post surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Alder and his team.

After visiting and even scheduling surgery with a different surgeon, we were referred to Dr. Alder. Every interaction, every email, every clinic visit, and the Nuss procedure FAR exceeded our expectations with Dr. Alder and his staff. They were completely professional and prepared and organized, but they also made my son feel special and spent as much time with him as we needed. We had many questions coming into this procedure, and they answered all of them with patience and care. My son has had several medical issues over the years and we have been under the care of many doctors and even surgeons, but have never received such amazing and genuine care. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone in the DFW or North Texas area to take their child to see Dr. Alder and his staff. My son just got his post-op "all clear" and we are all amazed at how well his recovery has gone. Dr. Alder has a very realistic view of recovery and the activities and lifestyle that my son wants, and he is encouraging him every step of the way to get there...even pole vaulting again!

Dr. Alder was very knowledgeable and is very patient with my son with all his questions, comments, and concerns. We are very pleased with the results. For us, it’s not about having the perfect chest, it’s so my son can breathe better and have more room for his heart. Dr. Alder gave my son a full chest again, 3 bars were placed in a ‘Z’ pattern and he is our Zorro.
