Dr. Gavin Falk

Our son was 17 when he/we decided to move forward with the Nuss procedure. Dr. Falk did an excellent job explaining the surgery in detail. He showed us a video during our first visit that gave us a visual description along with answering all our questions. We appreciate his professionalism along with his ability to communicate clearly. He is exceptionally friendly and interactive with our son and us. We have nothing but confidence in his skill and ability and would highly recommend him to any young person needing this surgery.

Our experience with Dr. Falk was amazing!! My son Grayson wore a T-Joe Pectus brace to correct a chest deformity. At our first appointment Dr. Falk explained the procedure to my son Grayson in terms a 6 year old could understand. His ability to connect with Grayson was phenomenal. He has a gift for treating children. He is truly in the right profession! Grayson wore the brace routinely for approximately 6 months and his deformity is corrected. He and I are both very happy with the results especially when it could be corrected without surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Falk to anyone.

One of the first things I appreciated about Dr. Falk was the way he spoke with my son. He listened and asked clarifying questions which helped my son articulate his questions and concerns. Dr. Falk was thorough in his explanations and allowed my son, husband, and me ample time to to ask all of our questions and truly feel like we had a clear understanding of everything. Dr. Falk was knowledgable and reassuring, and made sure that we were all clear on what to expect and how to manage Carson's recovery. He was extremely approachable, available, and friendly. We couldn't have asked for more and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

My daughter had a NUSS bar procedure performed by Dr. Gavin Falk in July 2019. She is now 2 years out and looks and feels amazing! From diagnosis to pre-op to post-op, Dr. Falk's care was superb. He took time with my daughter and addressed her directly with questions and answers. He allowed her to have a voice in her care. He was able to connect with her on her level and gained her trust. This is saying a lot, because she was only 14 at the time of surgery. Dr. Falk has pain control dialed in!! He knows what works and sticks to it. I have 26 years of operating room experience and I know an excellent surgeon when I see one. Dr. Gavin Falk is that and more! I've also had the privilege of assiting him in the OR with the NUSS procedure. His surgical technique is impeccable. He is incredibly skilled and competent. Our daughter had a Nuss bar placed by Dr. Falk. From our first visit until the post op follow up visit, Dr. Falk has been available for all of her questions and concerns. He treated her with such kindness and compassion, making sure she understood the entire process, from surgery to recovery. He made sure that not only we trusted him with her care, but that she trusted him as well. Dr. Falk was obviously knowledgeable about the whole procedure and was able to help our daughter understand exactly what was going to happen and what the recovery process would be. He was available to her in the hospital following her surgery to make sure her recovery was going as planned. Throughout all of this, we have never felt as if he treated her like just another patient. He made her feel important and helped her be a part of the decision making process. After originally being told we might have to travel out of state to Seattle to have the surgery, we were thrilled to find such a wonderful doctor and team of professionals in Montana to treat our daughter. I highly recommend Dr. Falk to anyone facing this surgery.
