Dr. Geissler removed my son's bar two days ago. The surgery was outpatient and the pain can be managed with ibuprofen (although we do have a prescription should my son need something stronger). Once again, Dr. Geissler and his staff were a joy to work with. Even though we were "experienced," we still had questions. Once again, Dr. Geissler took the time to explain everything in detail. My son's chest looks amazing and he is delighted with the outcome of this surgery. Plus he got to keep the bars and the stabilizers as a souvenir! I would highly recommend Dr. Geissler for the Nuss procedure and frankly for any other pediatric surgical needs you might have.
