Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center

When my son was in 7th grade, he went through a growth spurt. It seemed overnight that his chest wall was concave. After taking him to his doctor, she wanted for him to be seen by a specialist. After a few phone calls to our local hospitals, it became apparent that this wasn't a procedure that was done often and in one case I was told that this was NOT a medical procedure but cosmetic.
After a search on the internet, we found Cincinnati Children's. Honestly, from the start of our first conversation until post-surgery I spoke with the same two nurses (Aimee & Kristin) via phone or email. I can't say enough wonderful things about them. They helped us every step of the way. Some of our pre-surgical tests were done in our home state. It made it a challenge but with there help, we were able to get the tests that they needed before the tests could be submitted to insurance for approval. Our experience with Cincinnati Children's was top notch, I can't sing their praises enough - the care that was given to our son was amazing.
