The staff at Gundersen Lutheran was great; from the surgeons all the way down to housekeeping. They did everything possible to keep me comfortable. They were very cordial. The only thing that made my stay a little difficult was having double occupancy rooms. Most of the time I was there, I had a roommate. Whenever he was woken up in the middle of the night, I woke up, and vice versa. It made things tough. Gundersen is in the process of building a new facility and will not have double occupancy rooms once the new building is completed. It will be a couple years before it is completed though.
